Introduction

whatifi is a highly visual, “low code” financial scenario modelling and “what if” projections tool. TLDR: it really is an entirely different way to automate and calculate the flow of money and financial account data over time.

In this space, Spreadsheets really are the dominant tool. They are incredibly robust and, in the right hands, can create any scenario or calculation.

But... their cell based logic is lacking a fundamental dimension. Time.

While “A+B” may equal “C” today... “A” six months from now, and “B” two years from now, no longer equal that same “C” value.

whatifi underlying architecture is entirely based on time. Much like video editing software, every calculation in our platform sits on a timeline, with a start date and an end date. Each calculation can be slid along that timeline, start earlier or end later.
