The Outbound Sales Event creates the properties and profile for a cohort of sales. Depending on the industry and type of target customers, a salesperson can close an average number of deals with an average lead time.
Use the Outbound Sales Event to model the profile for a typical sales cycle and client type.
Use this Event to identify different types of sales leads, how many deals the average salesperson can close and the lead time it will take to close that deal.

The Salesperson Event requires an upstream Employee Event, Outbound Sales Event and a Customer Event.

Event States


Specific Employee

  • Selects a specific Employee from the Employee Event and allocates a percentage of their time to selling to specific Outbound Sales cohorts. These cohorts are inherited from an upstream Outbound Sales Event.

Placeholder Employee

  • Used for projecting larger sales team hires. Select a number of Placeholder Employees (5 of 8, for example) from the Employee Event and allocates a percentage of their time to selling to specific Outbound Sales cohorts. These cohorts are inherited from an upstream Outbound Sales Event.
