Events are the building blocks of all of our calculations in whatifi. Think of them like pieces of Lego. Depending on how you connect them together, you can create some incredibly complex and intricate Scenarios.
Calculation Events do the heavy lifting in whatifi. Imagine all of the horsepower from a tab in an Excel sheet collapsed down into these individual building blocks. Use Calculation Events to create Customer cohorts, calculate Loan repayments, model growth/churn/CAC, or fully replicate a traditional Profit and Loss statement.

These Events are designed for Software-as-a-Service type subscription models but can be utilized across many other types of business models.
Use these Events to model different types of Customer acquisition channels. We currently support Organic/Paid/CPC Traffic and Outbound Sales. These Events are intended to be combined with the SaaS Events above to model various sales funnels.
Utility Events are used in whatifi to organize, modify or perform Scenario-wide goal setting.
Use Utility Events for organization, grouping, creating Decisions and other application-wide modifications.
Integration Events will support the ability to import or dynamically link to real-time 3rd party data sources.
For some plans, Integration Events will be a PRO feature and may require a plan upgrade.
